Duchess' Wildlife Domain
First of all, I would like to thank my friend and neighbor, Duchess, for letting me take over domain this week. The last week's temperatures around here ranged in the mid-forties as us bucks, deers and elk grazed in this San Juan valley and mountains. Four to five elk were spotted crossing the county road 501, around the curve, near the dam at Vallecito Lake yesterday evening. NW Okie had to slow to a stop to watch and keep from running into to this small herd in the evening hours. It was too dark to snap a photo, though. 1937-38 Student Directory NSTC

According to The Frisco Employes' Magazine, page 50, December, 1926, the Transportation Department, Western Division - Enid, written by Cambell and Campbell, reporters, were reporting on the Western Division for the towns along the Western Division of the Frisco Line.
