Waynoka, Oklahoma had plans for a
Waynoka Lake Project of 1956? Looking through the '56 newspaper archives, we found out that the Waynoka Lake plans were to be located 14 miles south of Waynoka on Gyp Creek. The lake plan was approved by the state fish and game commission Monday and announced by Ben Easterly (State Senator). Throw 'er June Photo (dated May 7, 1933 - 71 years ago)...
