Oklahoma, I.T., March 3 (1890) -- News from Shawnee said that the dead bodies of a man named Holmes, his wife and two children were found Thursday a few miles west of Shawnee. They had been working on the new Choctaw railroad and were returning to their claim, a few miles from this city, when they were killed, it was supposed, for their money, by the outlaws that infested the Pottawamac reservation. There was no clue to the assassins.
