Courage & Endurance
It was April 8, 1999, that NW Okie had this Heart To Heart: "Courage & Endurance."
Thesaurus gives us these synonyms for survive, "keep alive, continue to live, subsist, last, hang on, hold out; live on, persist, endure, prevail, continue, abide, subsist, be extant, exist, live through, come through alive, outlive, outlast, live longer than... succeed in staying alive against odds, to live after some event that has threatened one.. outlive stresses capacity for endurance..."
We all have it inside of us to find the courage and endurance to survive any kind of crisis, to stay alive against all odds and come out as a survivor.
Whether you are a survivor of the 19 April 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing - Hostage in a War of Nations - Refugee in exile - Or just a family in crisis of some kind... To survive you will need to reach down inside of your soul and search for that inner courage and endurance that you have to become a survivor and overcome any crisis.
Some of us find it easier than others. BUT we all have this courage and endurance inside us to be a survivor.
It takes all of us working together, reaching out hand in hand with support and friendship to help others find that courage and endurance that we all possess.
If each of us living in this "Wonderful Universe" could band together hand in hand and give each other the support, endurance and courage we need in times of crisis (or whenever needed), wouldn't this be a terrific and better world?
Perhaps this is the Dreamer in me speaking here today, but it only takes one person - To plant the seed - To encourage with support - To make a difference - To make things grow into something so beautiful and so good for us all to enjoy.
Let It Begin With Me!
Reach out and touch someone - Join hands of support - Make a difference - Help those in need of your support to find the courage and endurance that resides inside themselves to also become a survivor and oversome all odds.
Let me leave you with this one last thought and a quote from a survivor, Helen Keller -- "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched... but are felt in the heart."
