Chicago, Sept. 7 (1907) - Luckily the Cubs have cinched the National League championship, or the accident to Mordecai Brown, their three-fingered pitching phenom, hight seriously interfere with their aspirations.
Brown retired from a game at Boston after spraining his arm and physic fans who have examined the wing, declare the great pitcher will have to remain out of the game for the balance of the season.
The accident was unexplainable. Brown had delivered a curve ball, when he felt a shooting pain through the arms and could not raise his hand above his head.
