Genealogy of Old Man Rolfe To Ben Harrison
In The Weekly Kansas Chief, out of Troy, Kansas, dated 20 December 1888, Thursday, page 2, we found this genealogy, which has been stated that Ben. Harrison was a lineal descendant of Pocahontas. The following were the generations:

Old man Rolfe begat John Rolfe;
John Rolfe got after Pocahontas, and begat Thomas Rolfe;
Thomas Rolfe begat sons and daughters, one of whom was taken to wife by Col. Robert Bolling.
The wife of Col. Robert Bolling conceived and bare Major John Bolling.
Major John Bolling begat sons and daughters, and one of the daughterm was taken to wife by Col. Dick Randolphs; so that this Bolling's daughter married the hired man, whose name was Harrison.
Harrison begat Benjamin Harrison;
Benjamin begat William Henry;
William Henry begat John Scott;
John Scott took and begat Benjamin, and was gathered unto his fathers.
These were the generations, from Pocahontas to Benjamin. By these generations Benjamin was related to all the distinguished old families, including the Skimmerhorns, the Whickerbills, the Snigglefirtzes, the Skoobendykes, the Titwiers, the Silkoitters, the Boomershines, the Hunseckers, the Peelgarlics, the Bobtails, the Snodgrasses, the Dinkelspiels, the Klinkenfusses, and the Hohenzollerns.
