Ponca City, Okla., July 20 (1942) -- The campaign to restore historic 101 Ranch's White house to its former grader had been abandoned for the duration.

The 101 Ranch Historical foundation had approved a resolution to return all donations, totaling more than $3,500, with the hope that the work can be resumed with the return of peace. After the break-up of the ranch, a drive was started to restore the White house as a historical museum with the NYA furnishing the supervision and labor.

But the NYA could not then live up to its end of the agreement, since all its projects were devoted to the war effort.
