Woof! Woof! The clouds started forming late this afternoon in Houston, Texas, and it was getting hotter. Thank goodness my human keeps this short-nosed Pug in an air-conditioned environment.

This week's OkieLegacy Ezine/Tabloid theme is featuring Gold Bugs, including three High school mascots from Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. And ... the history of Edgar Allan Poe's short story, "The Goldbug" that influenced a couple of high school's mascots. We also included some history of how the McKinley Gold Bug originated.
