Wichita, KS, July 7 (1915) -- O. K. Stewart, chief of pockier of Wichita, was arrested on this date on a charge of selling whiskey.
The arrest followed Henry Allen's testimony before the county attorney of Sedgwick county, telling of how his representatives had purchased liquor. The arrest of the chief created great excitement. Allen was publisher of the Wichita Beacon and had been making war on bootleggers.
