NW Okie's Journey
The person who bought the "Old Sam Lindsay" place south of Monterey, Virginia, sent me a recent photo taken this last Saturday of a view of my paternal grandmothers relatives, who showed up in a misty aura over the Gwin/Eckard cemetery. The family plot is situated in a pasture, beside the creek. Can you see the mist hanging over the graveyard in the photo on the left?
This is a photo from the same owner of the "Old Sam Lindsay Place" just south of Monterey, Virginia showing the backside of the house. I am told the little house on the left was also built by Sam Lindsay. Sam Lindsay (29 Sep 1896-May 1983) was the husband of Lucy Eckard, who was my first cousin twice removed. Lucy was the daughter of my great grand aunt, Rhuhama "Hami" Gwin (15 Nov. 1857-10 Jun 1921), who married Jacob "Job" E. Eckard (1847-4 April 1911).
I have several requests for the last few months for a copy of the "Wrought Iron Range" 1933 manual that I have on my WIRange site. Because it is such a large to download for some recently, I have decided to include a link to a Zip file (WIR1933manual.zip that includes the two pdf files that I compressed in to a zip file. Hope this makes it easy for some of you wanting a copy of the 1933 manual. Let me know if it works. Thanks!
Good Night! Good Luck!
