Walking With Sadie
Woof! Woof! This weekend in southwest Colorado was almost looking like a repeat of last weekend, but the snowfall feel a bit short when the warm, southern front moved in late Sunday night. There is a possibility that snow will fall tonight thru Tuesday, though. We did hear that Alva, Oklahoma got over 6 inches of snow over the weekend before the sun came out sunday.
This week we decided to bring you some information of WWII friendly fire, accidentally bombing in the far end of the Oklahoma panhandle, Cimarron county (Boise City), July 5, 1943 ... to the story of Clyde Barrow's incarcerations at Eastham Prison Farm in Texas April 1930. There are also some bank robberies of 1915 and 1922.
There is also mention of William (Bill) M. Tilghman's statement December, 1914 concerning wanting the legislature to develop Oklahoma Rangers modeled after the Texas Rangers body, according to his statement. Did the Oklahoma Rangers ever get developed?
Good Night! Good Luck! Woof! Woof!
