I do not know what State Rep. Sally Kern (R) Oklahoma has against gays, lesbians and homosexuals in general, but she has brought much embarrassment to the State of Oklahoma with three of her bills lately. The dangerous of her bills is HB 1598, which deals with" conversion therapy" for gays in Oklahoma.

To me this sounds more like a form of "brainwashing" using shame, fear to change a person into "your" own image of what you think they should be.

I agree with what Rev. Tim Baer wrote, ".....If you have a gay child, please use the techniques of Jesus -- love, compassion, empathy. Do not choose shame, fear, or stones. Find a church that will do the same. And please contact your representatives. A silent majority cannot sit on the sidelines. Oklahoma, we are better than this....."
