NW Okie's Journey
It is the last day of 2014. A time to ring out the "Old" and ring in the "New." we have included some history of New Years of the past in this week's newsletter.
The latter part of last week we had a snowstorm come through here, dumping close to a couple feet of snow at our place. They say Wolf Creek Ski resort received about three feet of new snow, and Durango Mountain resort received a couple of feet. More snow to come in this afternoon, evening and lasting through Thursday, New Years day.
the above photos were taken with my Canon EOS Rebel SL1 digital camera this Monday and Tuesday, while the sun was shining, showing the reflections of the snowy mountains in Vallecito Lake, north of Bayfield, Colorado.
We know this newsletter is a few days later than the norm, but we decided to publish the last newsletter of 2014, Volume 16, on New Years Eve, Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Thanks for letting us come through to your email inbox each week for the last few years. We shall see you next year, 2015, first week of January.
Good Night & Good Luck! And . . . Happy, Healthy & Prosperous New Year 2015 to All!
