Walking With Sadie
This last weekend we had a cold front come through our neck of the woods, dropping snow at high elevations of over 8500 feet or more. As seen in the image on the left, which was taken by NW Okie with her Canon EOS Rebel SL1, with 55-250 zoom lens, near the Blue Spruce Lodge, looking west towards the mountaintops.
Anyone out there from Creek county, Oklahoma, near the Cushing oil fields, especially a 1914 oil field boom camp called Dropright? Dropright came about in 1914 or so and later moved a mile away and renamed to Markham. You can read about the Cushing oil field, Markham and Dropright in this week's OkieLegacy Weekly Ezine/Tabloid.
Go out and take some great photography of the Winter hitting your neck of the woods, and send us a copy to share here in the OkieLegacy Ezine. Thanks!
Good Night & Good Luck!
