Has anyone any information concerning the old town site of Salt Springs, Oklahoma (Northwestern Oklahoma) located on the Selman ranch. I know of someone who would love to hear stories, especially get copies of pictures of Salt Springs. I hear it is supposed to be the site of the last bank robbery on horse back in the USA. Would love to hear your stories, get copies of your photos of Salt Springs.

We did find an Appeal that mentioned a 30 March 1921, bank robbery suspects convicted of a bank robbery of the Citizens State Bank of Salt Springs, but not sure if this was the "last" bank robbery on horseback she was inquiring. If anyone has any more information or copies of photos of Salt Springs, Oklahoma, we would love to share their stories here at The Okie Legacy Ezine/Tabloid Weekly.
