According to The News Herald, 12 September 1895, page 3, we find this short little article: Outlaw Dies In Jail. Some might remember Zip Wyatt (alias Dick Yeager), leader of an outlaw band that succeeded the famous Dalton gang in Oklahoma Territory.
Wichita, Kans., Sept. 9 (1895) -- Zip Wyatt, alias Dick Yeager, the captured leader of the desperate outlaw band that succeeded the famous Dalton Gang in the Oklahoma Territory, died at South Enid Saturday in the Garfield county jail.
