NW Okie's Journey
It has dawned on me that dragging this old body along the mountain trails has a relaxing, tension-free exercise to keep mobility in these old bones. We have been doing our two-mile walking at a steady, speedy pace for the whole week and last few weeks. Last week we shared a video of our chosen mountain walking trail around the Vallecito campground.
We also take some time off once in awhile to listen to some of our favorite music, which, of course is listening to "Blues" on the Durango Blues Train, and sipping wine, this last friday, 22 August 2014, from 7pm thru 10:30pm.
You got to stroll through all the train cars to the beat of the Blues musicians on the Durango-Silverton narrow-gauge railroad while it traveled from Durango to Rockwood and back again to Durango. We took the Friday evening venture. There was also Saturday night travelers as well.
Good Night, Good Luck searching for your roots!
