According to The Times Dispatch, 3 July 1907, pg 5 out of Richmond, Virginia, Independence Day (July 4th) 1907, All America was busy.

Virginia was keeping in line with great America and had a more abiding faith, based upon the things realized in her own possibilities than at any time in her history. In 1907, Richmond was seething with industry, widening the horizon of activities, and her trade was great, growing greater.
