NW Okie's Journey
While recuperating at home in southwest Colorado mountains, and waiting for Winter to finish up around these parts, I have been doing some spring cleaning of my greenhouse. Getting it ready for the last hard freeze so I can plant my veggie and herb garden.
The greenhouse, which is unheated, but set in a sunny location most of the day, does measure on the temperature gauge anywhere from 60 to 90 degrees during the daytime hours. I have huge planting pots set inside the greenhouse ready for my seedlings and tomato plants I will be planting in a month or so.
We have a short growing season in the mountains in this area, so I usually get my tomato plants from the nursery that have already started to bloom.
I am thankful for the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), Medicare and my AARP/Unitedcare Supplemental that has covered the doctors, surgeries, medicines, etc.
Good Night & Good Luck!
