Walking With Sadie
Well, wouldn't you know it. NW Okie goes to head south towards Houston, Texas and leaves this Sadie Pug in the snowy mountains of Southwest Colorado. And all she sent me back was this image of the Houston skyline taken looking East at the Texas Medical Center.
4 March was the anniversary of The New Deal that President Franklin Delano Roosevelt established in 1933 during the Great Depression. Besides the CCC,SEC, FHA, the Agricultural Adjustment Administration (AAA), along with the WPA (Works Progress Administration), and The most famous measure of the New Deal was the 1935 Social Security Act, which led to the establishment of the Social Security Administration and the creation of a national system of old age pensions and unemployment compensation. The following is a timeline of the New Deal legislation in 1933:
