Duchess of Weaselskin

This last week brought brought lots of rain to the southwest corner of Colorado. Things got really soaked and saturated. Parts of the area around Durango, Bayfield and Vallecito had so much rain, mudslides and boulders slid into the roadways. It did fill up Vallecito Lake, which was really in need of a good filling by mother nature.

As Sunday ushered in the first day of Fall, it also ushered in another shot of rain, hail and what looked like snow on the mountain peaks in the distant, north of here, the next morning.
