1906 - June 30th, Pioneer Judge Dies

It was in The Jimplecute newspaper out of Jeffereson, Texas, and dated Saturday, 30 June 1906, page eight, that we learn of a "Prominent Citizen of Oklahoma has departed this life." This citizen was a pioneer judge of Beaver county, Oklahoma.

Taloga, OK, June 27 (1906) - The death had occurred of Judge Orville C. McClung, the first probate judge of Dewey county, and one of the earliest of Oklahoma pioneers.
