The Friedmann Cure for Tuberculosis - 1913
It was Monday, March 24, 1913, in a Seattle, Washington newspaper front page headline, that reported that "Dr. Noble Declares the Friedmann Cure For Tuberculosis Is Genuine."
Dr. Charles F. Noble, the Seattle door sent to New York by The Star to investigate and report not he efficacy of the new Friedmann cure for tuberculosis, had made his report. Dr. Noble thinks the cure is genuine. The Star received from him the following telegram:
"The culture is a wonderful discovery. I believe it a sure cure for many cases of bone, joint, gland and first stage lung cases. Most of the cases here are improving, and medical men are forced to have more faith, as shown by the presence of official heads of different hospitals at Bellevue, for the first time since Friedmann's arrival. The Star should take all the credit to which it is entitled. I expect the government to make a favorable report. Take a favorable stand at once. ~ signed Noble."
