Sorry! I am running a tad late tonight! Been researching history, fact-checking a few candidates and watching the third presidential debate! I did get my mail-in ballot filled out and mailed in this weekend, though. Has early voting started in your neck of the woods? And . . . Yes! I cast my Vote for the re-election of President Obama!

I suppose some might think me a bit too strong-willed and an uppity women who doesn't know her place. At least I am not a "Stepford Wife!" I have not always been a strong-willed, out-spoken women! On the contrary, most of my childhood was a timid, shy young thing. I suppose people might have characterized me as someone that they could control easily! Throughout the last twenty some years with some of the things I have been through and challenges put upon this NW Okie, the strong-willed features have been emerging. Particularly, most recently within the last ten years! I do know who I am and from whence I have descended! A strong, independent stock of pioneer ancestors! Enough said about that though.

We were saddened this weekend with the passing of U.S. Senator George McGovern. We have included a brief legacy of his in this week's OkieLegacy Ezine.

WOW! Have you kept up with the presidential debates? Tonight as I was watching the third and final debate of the two presidential candidates, I thought the Republican candidate came awfully close to endorsing Our Commander-in-chief, Barack Obama! That's correct! Willard Mitt Romney agreed and endorsed everything that president Obama's Administration has been doing on foreign policy! Will Romney give in and contribute and Vote for the re-election of President Obama? ... Or NOT! Just kidding! Someone has advised Romney to say anything to get elected and then do what we want you do!
