NW Okie's Corner
We are running late this evening, because we were peacefully getting involved with others on the Main Street of Durango, Colorado this afternoon, as Duchess of Weaselskin wrote about above. It felt good!
We received an email this week from Earnest Taylor, who was born in the logging and saw mill town of Pine Valley, Oklahoma. Earnest read with interest the memory of Pine Valley, Oklahoma, written by Francis L. (Frank) Powell. Earnest was wondering if there are any other articles about this saw mill town and any photos of the mill and town. If so, leave a comment below and/or Email Earnest Taylor concerning Pine Valley, Oklahoma. Thanks!
This concerns the Gray-Mitchell Family Reunion. Edwin Shaw (Email: edelspmo@yahoo.com) says, "Hi! I was talking to my Aunt Grace Smith about the Gray/Mitchell reunions. She says she goes almost every year. I had seen an article about the 2005 reunion that mentioned my grandma Martha Lela Mitchell as well as Grace and her sister Martha Lytle (now deceased). My mother Nellie L (Reedy) Shaw at 95 (Nov 26) is the oldest of the six surviving siblings (out of 18)."
