Hello, Doli! AND . . . Goodbye, Doli! It was so nice seeing you once again for a short while! Doli (photo on the left) is our two year old paint filly in NW Oklahoma.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, David (photo on the right)! Hope you feel like a Captain of your Ship on this day in history!
It's good to hear that Northwest Oklahoma has gotten some measurable, slow, soaking rain. We have been told that Freedom had received 1.02 inches, Alva 1.45 inches and Cherokee with 1.37 inches since Saturday morning and it was still raining in Cherokee on Sunday. Hope you get some more of that wet stuff again! We hear tell that Southwest Oklahoma had some flood warnings out this last weekend.
It was a Nice slow soaking rain with no runoff because it was all soaking in. Others reported "Nice slow soaking rain" with 2 inches in their rain gauges and cooling things down.
It was sunny, high 60's degrees with a breeze while NW Okie and friends were getting involved on the Maine Street of Durango, Colorado this Monday afternoon. We joined the 99% Mob to "Occupy Wall Street." They were supported by lots of "horn honks" from passer-bys! Does this crowd look rowdy? We did get lots of "honks for support!" Where is the Jobs, Boehner?
