Duchess of Weaselskin
With William and Kate's royal wedding 29 April 2011, and their new labels (Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, plus a couple more), NW Okie finally decided it was about time to bestow a NEW title upon this Pug writer besides just being Duchess, CEO. Woof! Woof! I am now the "Duchess of Weaselskin!"
You do not have to curtsy at me when you encounter me, though. Let's keep it informal! Oh Yeah! My Pug Friend Sadie did not get leftist . . . her label is "Lady Sadie!"
By the way . . . Happy May Day! Usually around this time of year you would be mixing up your sugar water mixture (4 parts water to 1 part sugar) and getting out your hummingbird feeders.
Here in the San Juans mountains of Southwest Colorado we might have to wait a few days as it starts to warm (if it does). This Sunday, May 1, 2011, known as May Day to most of us, brought chilly, snowy weather to the San Juan mountains of Southwest Colorado, dumping up to 4 to 5 inches (or more) of snow by the early evening hours. Monday morning turned into a sunny, calm day, though!
We read where the Waynoka snake hunt started this last Friday, April 29th and continued until Sunday, May 1, 2011. I know people are curious and find it fascinating hunting the poisons rattlesnakes in the areas around the Waynoka, Woods county, Oklahoma area. BUT . . . I have a question about rattlesnakes. Are snake hunts like this damaging to the ecosystem? I only ask this question because I saw this comment response in the local Alva newspaper. So! What do you think? Are the "Snake Hunts" damaging to our ecosystem?
This is a Great Day for the World! Osama Bin Laden is dead!
