Craig (Email: "Craig Anderson" tca@ablonco.com) says, "My Uncle John tells me that he remembers hearing about Miller (his Grandfather) saying the Spencer team rode the train to Hobart to play a game. Miller had an offer to play in the Western League but he turned it down because he was starting his family.
"I found some information about a Western Association that had an Oklahoma City team in 1905, so this may be what he was talking about. His playing day were about 1900-1910. Apparently the fans were quite loyal to their team and fights happened. One of Millers brother was said to have bitten part of a fellows ear off in one of these fights."
