Oklahoma Rain & Gas

Roy says, "We knew that it was time for rain and hail because wheat harvest had begun and we cvertainly got some (but not enough moisture just yet). More is on the way we think. The hail in my front yard was only marble size. The wind tore off a couple of tree limbs in my front yard but I have no complaints.

About a half mile west of me I'm told that a large tree was toppled and destroyed a house next to the nursing home on Cedar street. I haven't seen it yet. I have seen the tree a half block from here that has had a two and a half foot (diameter) branch snapped off and is laying in the front yard.

It's across the street east of the Baptist Church parking lot (my house is just north of that parking lot). We only got an inch of rain out of it, but most of that fell in just 30 minutes. It was a fast moving storm.

Our Conoco gas price is presently $2.58.9 per gallon of regular unleaded."
