Chimney Rock, NW Oklahoma

Some have said that Chimney Rock was located in Woods County, North of the Cimarron, between Waynoka and Freedom. Before statehood Chimney Rock may have been in Woods (M) county, but now it resides in Woodward county, South of the Cimarron River. It is between Waynoka and Freedom near Belva, Oklahoma. Another reader says, "When you travel south of Freedom to go to Woodward, there is a sign a few mile south of Alabaster Caverns, that says Chimney Rock Road to the east of the highway.
