This old postcard shows a state inspected, tourist camp called Champ Clark Ttourist Camp near Louisana, Missouri. It had modern home-like cottages, equipped with comfortable simmons beds, cooking facilities, city water, natural gas, electricity. Shower baths, lunch room, groceries and gas stations. It was located on US Highway 54, 1 mile West of the Mississippi River, in the picturesque country made famous by mark Twain, Champ Clark and Stark Nurseries.
