My 1st Theatre Newburg, MO

This photo of the Lyric was of me standing in front of the first theatre I owned and managed in Newburg, Missouri. The building next to it was an old hotel or rooming house where a lot of the "railroaders" were known to stay "between trains" (the Frisco depot was across the street known as Front Street), and further east (these buildings faced towards the south) were some houses that had been built on an early Indian burial ground. Some folks said it was haunted by the Indian spirits." -- Roy
