Oklahoma Rains Came ... Finally

"We didn't get your snow (and none is predicted now) but finally got some rain here in Perry, Oklahoma. It began late Tuesday and overnight we'd received a little more than an inch. Then the next morning we got another 1/10th. It has warmed up again and we don't anticipate any freezes (at all) 'til after Christmas! Hope your's is "merry and bright" and continues to be white (since that's what you wanted). Our gas prices are rising again so the station owners can make more money with all this increased traffic. Our prices are now at $2.19.9 for unleaded regular. I'm told that it's cheaper in Stillwater (25 miles from here) because of more competition." -- Roy K.
