Simmons & Cropp Family...

"My Great-Grandfather William Simmons, mother's grandfather Cropp (my great-grandfather Cropp) was a southern gentleman being born in Virginia and fought for the south. My Great-Grandfather Simmons being from the north fought for the yankees. My mother told me they had some grand fights when they were together over the war. I had forgotten this information until my memory was jogged by your recent reminder. I love this kind of history just never have had the time to really research it.
