POW Camps Dot Oklahoma in WWII...

This is a newspaper article showing a picture and a map of WWII POW camps that were in Oklahoma. Also... The following linked photo shows us looking down Washington Avenue that ran through/to the Alva Camp towards the POW tower & VFW Post. In the photo we are looking south down Washington Ave. at Alva's WWII Prisoner of War Camp South of Alva (Photo taken October, 1999).
