Normal Schools... "I was looking for information on Normal Schools in Oklahoma -- as my Mother went to a Normal School after graduating from Chickasha, Oklahoma High School in 1913. After Normal School she taught in a one room school house in Grady County, Oklahoma. My Grandfather Matthews helped with the building of the first building at Alva, Oklahoma. H.C. McGrath listed in these articles is Henry Clay McGrath -- a brother of my great-great uncle, John McGrath. They had both served as U.S. Marshals along the Kansas-Oklahoma border.
