NWOSU's Oklahoma Hall Being Demolished...

What are NWOSU's plans for this SE corner of 8th & Oklahoma Blvd (Alva, Oklahoma) after this Northwestern Oklahoma State University dorm (Oklahoma Hall, built over 30-years ago) gets demolished?

This is what has been going on in this northwestern college town (Alva, Oklahoma) this week.

This writer remembers back to the late 1960's when they built this women's dormitory. I believe it was around the time that I was a sophomore or junior attending classes at NSC (Northwestern State College). That is what they called it in my college days. Back then, with almost everyone moving off-campus, the college thought they need another dormitory. NOW... 30 some years later -- after it stood empty and unoccupied for (I forget how many years) -- Oklahoma Hall at Northwestern is under the wrecking ball.

Maybe some of our readers out there knows more about what is going on and can fill us in on what if anything will replace "Oklahoma Hall" on the corner of 8th & Oklahoma Blvd, in Alva, Oklahoma.
