Old Opera House Murder, George Oakes Story

George W. Oakes was sworn upon his oath and testified on behalf of the State of Oklahoma as their first witness in the murder trial of N. L. Miller. Oakes testified at 1:30 p.m., the afternoon of 8 or 9 September 1911.
