Snow! Snow! Snow! And more Snow keeps falling. It started Sunday with a wet, heavy snow that continued into the evening hours and knocked out our electricity during the day at the north end of Vallecito, north of Bayfield, Colorado. It's still snowing this Monday, dumping almost over eight inches of that white, fluffy stuff on the old.

Over Hundred Years Ago - 28 January 1913

NW Okie's Corner

This Saturday a group of citizens from Bayfield, Durango, Vallecito and other parts of Colorado gathered in the 2300 block of County Road 500 to help keep the memory of missing Dylan Redwine alive. Dylan went missing a few days before Thanksgiving, 2012, when he was visiting his father at Vallecito. The following is a home video of the Redwine Rally for Dylan held Saturday, January 26, 2013, in front of his father's home.
