It has been eighteen days since the 30th Summer Olympics began in London 2012. I would like to applaud London and the United Kingdom for sponsoring of the XXX olympics of 2012. One hundred years ago today there was "another big split among republicans." On Tuesday, August 13, 1912, in The Democratic Banner, out of Mt. We find in the The Highland Recorder, dated 18 March 1910, Friday, out of Monterey, Highland County, Virginia, that The History of Pendleton County would be ready in April, 1910 and would have about 450 pages with strong binding, good paper, clear type, map and 12 illustrations. Gerald Mclaughlin sent me the 1755 Orders to Peter Hogg Regarding Ft. Dinwiddie that can be found in the Library of Congress, pages 207 thru 209, in the manuscript division.
