"I know not what the truth may be. I'll tell it as 'twas told to me. We were all glad those scientists were all wrong on the 17th. J. L. Burkett of Woodward, visited his brother, J. M. Burket and family, Thursday last. The U. B. Sunday School gave Xmas treats last Sunday. An evangelist from California, is holding protracted meeting at the German church. Ted McWilliams and wife made a business trip to Geuda Springs, last week. George Lehl left Tuesday for a Xmas visit with his parents near Denver, Colorado. C. N. Maddox and family of Aline, visited his mother's folks here Sunday. Mart Benson of the Whitehorse vicinity, was in this neighborhood last Friday. Little Ruth McDonald, who has been sick the past few weeks, is slowly improving. The Christian Sunday School will give a Christmas entertainment Wednesday evening at their church.
