In the Abilene Reporter News, out of Abilene, Texas, dated 25 May 1934, Friday, page 1, we find an associated press article from Dallas, dated May 24 (1934), "Death Car To Be Put On Exhibit," concerning Bonnie and Clyde's death.

Topeka, May 24 (1934) -- The automobile in which /clyed Barrow, Southwest, desperado, and Bonnie Parker, his gun toting' moll, met a violent death, was to be placed on exhibit.
Jesse wArner, owner of the automobile which was stolen here on April 29, 1934, contracted today with a promoter to use the automobile for exhibition purposes. It was to be brought here first and then probably taken to the worlds fair at Chicago.
