In John McCormick, Northwestern has a product of her own handiwork. John is just one of us. And his loyal boosting of clean athletics and Northwestern has won him the respect and admiration of all the directors of athletics in this section of the country.
McCormick won fame as the coach of The World’s Champion Basket-ball Team in 1924. His work at Northwestern has reflected credit upon the institution as well as praise to himself and his team. Under his guidance, modern managerial methods have been introduced to place athletics on a sound basis and to set high standards for the future.
