NW Okie's Journey
We hear Oklahoma, Texas and the plains weathermen were keeping busy the last few days with tornado-type weather. It is that time of year, huh? Just today Huntsville, Texas had 4 inches of rain following in an hour that created flood and filling the rivers to over flowing. We also hear that the Red River, Cimarron River were overflowing their banks as well. Keep an eye out for the weather.
Last week we mentioned that we had a request concerning the Wrought Iron Range Home Comfort Cookbook and manual of 1934, with someone wanting a copy of our pdf files. It seems they had bought a Wrought Iron Range of the same period and was looking for the manual and cookbook. We finally got it sent off the latter part of the week. Did anyone have any trouble connecting to our pdf file for the WIR Home Comfort Manual in last weeks newsletter?
If you were in Alva, Oklahoma yesterday afternoon, did you feel a rumbling, shaking in the ground around 4:15pm? Some on were talking about it on Facebook yesterday and today.
Good Night! Good Luck!
