While Oklahoma was getting almost three inches of rain Sunday, here in the Southwest corner of Colorado Rockies we were experiencing high 70F plus temperatures and dry, sunny weather.

Don't forget to check out the articles in this week's OkieLegacy Ezine/Tabloid for such stories as the assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand of Austria and Camp Relief in Denver, Colorado. We also have some history of the Colorado Coal Miners strike of 1914 in which miners grew increasingly intolerant of low wages, dangerous working conditions. This event sparked national outrage, leading the way of workers' rights in America.
