NW Okie's Corner

Usually my mornings start with getting up early, in the cool mountain air; feeding my dogs; giving my plants an early morning watering and checking my greenhouse veggies. Lately though, I have not had to do much watering because of the afternoon monsoons that have arrived in Southwest Colorado rockies.

Next on the agenda is laying out, sharpening my wood carving tools and chipping away on my pine log eagle I started back in 2010. Thanks goes out to my Houston, Texas sister, Ellen, who encouraged me to get back to finishing my wood sculpture. See latest image on the left (click on image for larger view.)
