We all lost a very special lady last Wednesday, 24 April 2013, when Lovina Ellen Clark passed on. Lovina was born 25 December 1933, in Carmen, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Lovina (Bonewitz) and Jim Davis. She passed away at Beadles Nursing Home on the 24th day of April, at the age of 79 years, 3 months and 30 days.
Lovina Ellen Davis married the love of her life (J.L."Bud" Clark), on May 19, 1951, the day after graduation. They both immediately set out on a life filled with adventures, hard work and with big hearts. I loved the way Bud and Lovina worked together in all areas of their lives, always having each other's back. Their life together is a great example of how, love and commitment to each other triumphs over all things.
Lovina is survived by her husband J. L. "Bud" Clark and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. I am one of those friends that was blessed with knowing both Bud and Lovina Clark. Lovina was like a second mother to me. She was an intelligent, strong and hard working woman, who knew how to get things done, working along side her husband, Bud, in the field and at their ranch. I admire both Bud and Lovina.
When David and I moved to Southwest Corner of Colorado, we lost track of the Clark's, but never forgot, never forgetting the great memories we shared with them when we helped them on their ranch, with the horses and farming. We shall cherish those precious memories of coffee shop mornings in the Alva, Oklahoma area. Bud, you and Lovina have left with us all precious memories of how hard working people with big hearts you both held for everyone you met.
Bud, I wish David and I could be there for you right now. We both send our friendship, love, lugs and support to embrace you with love all the way across the Rocky Mountains to the plains, prairies of Northwest Oklahoma. We would do anything, if we could be there for you right now. Our Pug Duchess and her side-kick, Sadie, send you their unconditional Pug dog love your way, also.
Good Night & Good Luck throughout your Life!
