Duchess of Weaselskin

As NW Okie's research and study of the Rocky mountain wildlife and raccoons goes, not much activity was seen except for one or two raccoons at a time, beginning around the 4th through the 5th, 6th, 7th and early morning hours of the 8th of April 2013.

On the 4th of April one small raccoon was caught on video eating leftover bird seeds left in the feeder that hangs from a tree limb. How this little raccoon got in the bird feeder, we speculate only, that he used the tree limb and walked out on it and jumped into the feeder (2013-04-04, 5:07:51am, MDT).

It was 2013-04-07, 12:07am, MDT, that we decided to take away the balloon obstacles to see what the raccoons would do. We know that the female raccoons give birth to their young babies in the Spring, and was wondering if that is why the raccoons haven't been gathering in large groups? Also, the Monday early morning hours of 8 April 2013, did not see any raccoon activity. But it has been windy and another cold front is moving through here.

One of our dear friends down in Southern part of Texas suggested putting peanut butter on the end of balloon and watch the fun. Things would be popping, that is for sure! That wouldn't be too sadistic, would it?

Being a Pug animal, I wonder what they think of these incredibly funny, weird humans. Do the Raccoons go back to their dens and have a "BIG" laugh as they "Roll On Floor (ROF)?"
