The raccoons continue to use their raccoon playground during the early morning hours this past few weeks. The lone, genius swinger raccoon returned 27 March 2013, between 1a.m. to 4a.m., MDT, at the north end of Vallecito Res., Bayfield, Colorado.



Yes! NW Okie is hooked on observing the nocturnal antics of the Raccoons! We speeded up this video a bit, but observe the return of this genius, lone, swinger raccoon that finds his way from behind the pine tree; forward to the stump; climbs upon the stump; and proceeds to take a flying leap, as he catches, clings to bottom of hanging bird feeder for his nightly swing. How long will he swing before dropping to vacuum up the fallen, scattered seeds?

The Swinger is back again, and he(she) brought a couple more raccoons with him(her). The camera did not catch him(her) jumping to swing this time. This speeded up video is a combination of 5 videos taken between the hours of 3:01am to 4:30am MDT, 31 March 2013, at the North end of CR 500, Vallecito Res., Bayfield, CO. See below:
