Alva's WWII German POW

Also, back in 2002, Vol IV, of the OkieLegacy ezine, John Webb (email: jdatwebb@cs.com) I do not know if this email is still a workable email address. John mentioned that his grandfather, Abe Regier, worked at the POW camp in Alva, Oklahoma.

John said, "My grandfather, Abe Regier, worked at the POW camp in Alva, Oklahoma. A few years ago he gave me a ship constructed entirely of scrap material made by a German prisoner for his son. The prisoner was not allowed to take it with him when he was returned to Germany. If anyone knows of anyone in Germany who has prisoner record information I would love to return the ship to his family. Feel free to email me. Great information!
